I will send a famine, Laodicea

Amos 8:11-12 – New King James Version

11 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land,
Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord.
12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it.

Look, I have hidden the Truth from My people. They will search for it, but not find it.
They did not seek Me, while it was day. I called them. I invited them to come to Me.
I invited them to My table and My banquet. But they were too busy, running after other men.
Hanging onto their words, like their lives depended on it. Now, these men can answer to them.
Now they can call on these men, to rescue them from the famine and drought.
How long must I knock? How long must My messengers, shout and warn?
But these people do not listen. My people do not listen. They perish for lack of knowledge, because they do not seek My wisdom. I have offered them gold. I have offered them hidden treasure.
But they have closed their ears and deleted My Words.
"We don't believe in prophets", they say. Am I not the God who does not change?
These people only follow fables and man-made theories. They do not come to Me.
Yes, these pastors who come in My name, do not come to Me. They cannot see the Truth in front of them. They are full of pride and arrogance. They have refused to be corrected, taught and lead by Me.
They follow their own hearts and their own vain imaginations and conceited ways.
They will starve, while the food is on the table before them, but they will not stretch out their hands, for Me to serve them. Such pride and stubbornness. Hardened, cold hearts. They refuse to come to Me. They refuse to be taught. They refuse to grow and mature in their faith. Laodicea, I will vomit you out of My mouth. You deliberately chose this path of famine; and now you and all of your followers, will starve to death.
When you search for My wisdom, it will not be found, so your hearts will be hardened and your blindness and lack of faith, will overtake you. What a shame, you chose pride over Me. What a shame you closed your ears to My Words of wisdom.
Repent and return to Me.
